About Me
I was born, raised and educated in upstate New York, in the United States, where I earned a bachelor's degree in Spanish and English before making my first trip to Spain in the late 1980s. I worked as an in-house translator for a Spanish insurance brokerage for three years before striking out on my own. I've been working as a freelancer ever since – more than three decades, and counting!Having spent more than half of my adult life residing and working in Spain, I've had the chance to hone my craft as a linguist by gaining a deep understanding of the country, its language, its culture and its laws. As a result, I am uniquely positioned to offer accurate, polished translations across a broad range of disciplines.
